A growing field of partners and contributors

The first Public Vitality Camp is made possible by many different contributions — from developing the wider inquiry and learning architecture to convening the Camp, hosting sessions, bringing research and practice into the programme, opening spaces, and carrying relationships and questions beyond the three days

The Public Vitality Camp is truly a joint effort and a beautiful piece of co-creation between nextearning e.V. and Teufelsberg. For us, the Camp represents a significant milestone and an integral part of the long-term development and transformation of Teufelsberg into a vibrant hub for debates, education, and political conversations.

Teufelsberg stands as a living symbol of transformation: from ruin to surveillance to open, creative common ground.

This history makes Teufelsberg a source of place-based knowledge in its own right. Questions of listening and being heard, of resilience and renewal, of what it means to rebuild on top of what came before, resonate directly with the themes the Camp seeks to explore. As a partner, Teufelsberg brings not only a striking and unconventional setting, but a spirit of openness, artistic experimentation, and collective reinvention that will shape the Camp's atmosphere and inform its conversations.

Part of the Planetary Civics Inquiry

Public Vitality Camp is part of the wider Planetary Civics Inquiry, developed by:

The inquiry provides a broader context for exploring how institutions, communities and other forms of life can remain capable of acting across interconnected places, systems and timescales.

Camp Partners

The first edition is being developed with organisations that contribute to the Camp’s wider learning environment, relationships, methods and continuation:

Camp Partners help shape the wider field around Public Vitality Camp — connecting inquiries, people and practices before, during and beyond the three Camp days.

Session Partners & Contributors

Much of the Camp takes shape through organisations and practitioners who bring concrete questions, experience, research and fields of practice into individual sessions:

Together, these contributions turn the Camp into a shared field of inquiry grounded in real questions, tensions and practices.

Media Partners

Embedding the Camp into ongoing networks, plus sharing this newfound concept with a receptive community, is as crucial for learning as it is fur building resilient future cities.

Media Partners helps extend the Public Vitality Camp’s impact – especially in the places where we’ll host three-day gatherings.
